Jonathan Carr is a USPPA-certified instructor and administrator, conservation biologist, and founder of Paramotor Orlando, one of the top Paramotor training schools in the United States. With over 8 years in the sport, he has trained and assisted more than 300 pilots at Valkaria Airport and internationally, sharing his passion for powered flight with students from around the world.
He holds a Master’s degree in Conservation Biology and Business from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and began his aviation journey as a licensed skydiver at age 18. After years of mentorship under Eric Dufour, one of the pioneers of paramotoring in the U.S., Jonathan purchased the Paramotor Academy and rebranded it as Paramotor Orlando in 2023—committed to preserving its legacy while modernizing its programs.
Jonathan’s instruction focuses on safety, skill development, and creating a life-changing experience in the sky. He has led international paramotor expeditions to Egypt, Mexico, and Tunisia, including bucket-list flights over landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza.
As part of his community mission, Jonathan partnered with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to lead paramotor clinics for disabled veterans, using flight as a therapeutic and empowering tool.

Foot and Wheel Launch
Offering comprehensive, individualized training programs for aspiring foot launch and trike pilots. Our school prioritizes safety and efficiency when training all of our students. Allowing complete training to take place within a 10 day curriculum, providing a guaranteed minimum of 25+ flights before graduating as a USPPA certified powered paragliding pilot.
Refresher Courses:
We also offer day rates for pilots needing refreshers or a few days to get started: $300 per day
